Dismantling

In the framework of long and complex applications related to nuclear dismantling (see e.g. guide n°6 from French Nuclear Safety Authority), ELEMENTS’ goal is to bring the following to nuclear operators:

• Radiation-hardened technological building blocks qualified and guaranteed for nuclear environments for characterization, sampling and operational needs.
• Support for integration of new or existing building blocks into sub-systems in compliance with functional requirements of the expected missions (performance, safety/security, reliability, maintainability).
• Expertise, technological and industrial know-how to adapt initially non-nuclear technologies in order to comply and qualify them to this specific environment.
